Milo Michael

...and then there were 3!

Our newest, lovable bundle arrived early Sunday Morning.  Milo Michael Francisco weighs 8lb. 3 1/2 oz and is 20 inches long.  He is perfectly perfect in every way.

It is hard to believe that my Anna has her own family of four now.  It seems like minutes ago she was toddling around here, creating art projects and going for wagon rides.  It is a wonderful thing to watch our children create their own little families.

How I have been so blessed with three beautiful grandsons I will never know, but I am beyond grateful and am loving every minute of it.  They are my love, my laughter, my hopes, my dreams, my joy, my giggles, my smiles and yes, my wiggles...they are my everything!
I am a blessed Grammy indeed.

Mind Blown

In Awe...

And because nobody struts his stuff in a robe better then Otman, this next one has to be documented.  Can't wait for sharing down the road; such as a 16th birthday party, graduation or wedding.
Gosh, I love this age!

Huxon

Our little Huxon is almost 8 months old!  He is such fun to take care of and changing and learning every minute of the day.  Some of Huxey's new tricks are:
  • Feeeeeeeeed ME!!  This boy loves his food and if you take too long between spoonfuls you will get an earful every time.  Hux loves pretty much all veggies if mixed with some delicious fruit.  He LOVES his cereal and bananas as well as the puffs.  He is definitely starting to enjoy a little texture in his food too.  We have to hide the bowls, spoons, pouches and bottles out of sight or he will holler like crazy until he gets one.
Full belly
  • Rolling here and there.   Hux has been rolling and started scooting last week.  He's been sitting up since 5 months so now we are focusing on the pre-crawling stage.  Since Hux didn't get to be on his back for 3 months except to sleep, he is really enjoying it now.  He loves kicking and rolling and reaching for all the toys and even enjoys belly time at Grams.

  • Hux can say Mooooooooooooooooooooooooom, when he sees his Momma.  It is sometimes in an elevated voice with slight panic if she is more then arms length away, but he's definitely got it.
  • Separation anxiety is entering the picture.  Huxey wants to snuggle with Mama if she is within sight.  He does a little complaining when she leaves, but gets over it very quickly.  But when she comes back there is a demand to be held, snuggled and nursed immediately!
  • Standing is an all-time favorite thing to do!  He loves to stand against the couch or ottoman and pat, pat, pat away.  He also loves to stand at the rice table and scoop and dump (out onto the floor of course).
  • Huxey is grabbing toys, transferring toys, and banging toys together.  He loves the sensory bottles I made that make a lot of noise, which was also one of his cousin's favorites.
He still loves books, and snuggling and being outside as well.  Gram can't wait for Spring to come so we can spend more time outside.

Love our sweet baby boy!

Otto

Our Otto is almost 23 months old!  How can that be???  I feel like a minute ago we were snuggling this little nugget and wondering  who he would grow up to be.  Fast forward almost two years and we definitely have a great kiddo with an awesome personality!

Otto is talking like crazy.  One of my favorite words he says is hippopotamus.  His Momma loves when he says tortellini, and we all love his name for Hux..."Huxey Boo".  Needless to say he can tackle some big words these days!  Otty also has his opinions on how things should be and will definitely tell you.  Many times he begins a sentence with  "no, no, no," to let us know that we are not doing something correctly.  This always reminds me of his Momma who use to tell Aunty Liv "no, no, no, not like that..." a lot.  We even have video footage to prove it.

Grandpa and Otto have gotten into a routine of going to L&M every week to go "shopping."  I'm not sure what they do there for an hour, but each of them seem to have a great time and Ot usually comes home with a small toy animal of some sort.  I've been told that their routine is to go down each aisle and discuss the items.

Art has become quite a favorite pastime for Otty.  He loves to color and paint.  I love this about Otto.  His Momma always loved art too and we use to paint on a daily basis when she was his age.

Books, trains, cars, animals, and duplos are all popular choices for Otto currently. The rice table and now rice/bean table have been a big hit this winter as well.  Nothing like scooping and dumping and burying trains for a good time.

Otty also has decided he does not like to have a dirty diaper...like, not even a little.  As soon as it's wet there's a resounding "change, change, change" coming from him.  The potty is in the bathroom when the interest is there and there are books being read with no pressure, but there has been some interest.  Ot has gone poop on the potty a couple times now, but it isn't something that's consistent.  Plenty of time for that.  Ot's also put his hands in his poopy diaper, once.  Fortunately he REALLY didn't like that and probably won't do it again.

Organizing has also become a big pastime for Otty.  We had a sleepover last week and at 7am he was sorting the Tupperware drawer, matching lids to bottoms.  Let me tell you that's a big job, cuz Grandpa emtpys the dishwasher and there's no matching going on in those cupboards!  Hurray for our little type A Otman:)

Just love my toddles!
