| cool as a cucumber on the flight |
We started out the trip bright and early at 3am to catch the shuttle to the airport, then headed to Ixtapa on a 4 1/2 hour plane ride. Our sweet Huxey just rolled with all of it. Not a peep out of him. Sometimes he played, sometimes he snuggled and sometimes he slept, but never did he cry! Go Huxon !!!
We also were lucky enough to have many open seats on the plane which was almost too good to be true. The flight attendants encouraged us to make ourselves comfortable so Huxey had his own seat between Momma Liv and Gram. We had plenty of room to stretch out, take naps and play. Couldn't have asked for a better situation! Daddy Jesse and Grandpa each had their own row.

When we got to our condo we changed into our summer clothes (so much easier then winter clothes) and headed to the pool. It was glorious to say the least. 85 and sunny:) Hux took another good nap, along with Momma Liv while Grandpa walked for a couple hours and Daddy Jesse relaxed.
the pack n play at night and for naps.
We spent a lot of time down by the pool of course, and many days down by the sand and ocean too. There were plenty of places for shade with all he palm trees and pool umbrellas so no one got sunburned.
Huxey was an exceptional model during our photo shoots. Nothing cuter then a baby in swimwear and shades (he really never wore the shades except for this quick photo).
What I thought of more then anything during our trip was how grateful I am for the opportunity to travel to such beautiful country, but more importantly feeling incredibly blessed for being able to spend these special times with family, especially the grandchildren. Cherished memories!
| Let's hope we get to visit you again soon Ixtapa! |
